This is the home of Pushing Pixels the web site for my work as a digital Imageer.
I hope you will find something of use or of interest to you during your visit.
This area of work began for me as the century began in the year 2000 when we obtained our first computer. After having a few rolls of film converted to digital files and then opening them in my first, very basic digital darkroom I was immediately hooked and excited by the possibilities and the flexibility of this fledgling craft.
The next few years saw a lot of learning on my part and some major leaps forward in digital technology and computer hard and software. The row over film verses digital rages on of course but for myself I look at the advances in quality of image capture and print and the exciting work of digital photographers and graphic artists all over the world and I feel that this is truly only the beginning of a technology that really embraces the old and the new in the art of the photographic image.
